A Silver State resident with a long history in the insurance industry opens the doors on her new Reno-based business. Next week, Tina Iacangelo (Rowe) launches her Brightway, The HMT Agency insurance office in the Biggest Little City in the World.

Iacangelo’s father owned and operated an insurance agency on the East Coast for more than half a century. After her dad passed away, the Reno entrepreneur headed west. Beginning Monday, Iacangelo will expand her family business footprint as she opens her new agency on South Virginia Street.

A resident of Reno for the past 17 years, Iacangelo is hoping to see her family carry on his legacy. “I named the agency after my three children, Helena, Mason and Talia,” Iacangelo said of Brightway, The HMT Agency. “One of my first jobs was working for my father in his agency. I look forward to seeing what the business world has in store for them.”

Iacangelo opens her new agency with several years of experience working within the legal, real estate and customer service industries.

Brightway, The HMT Agency offers customized Home, Flood, Auto, Boat, Condo, Renters, Personal Articles, RV, Motorcycle, Umbrella, and Life insurance policies from numerous insurance companies.
